Turd's river rat bike

Long story behind this one, but it's finally back on the road after being in the river for 3 months, with more character than ever!

75 ironhead, rigid framed

Bought this sweetheart from my friend BlacksmithBilly, sold it to another friend of mine after doing a few changes

1988 evo sporty, put it in a paughco rigid frame, made the exhaust with the help of my old man, turned out great, and it ripped.

67 after springer front end was put on

bought a long springer at a swap meet and shortened it 10 inches and put it on the 67.

My old man's 53 chevy truck, I did the paint

He subframed and transplanted a modern drivetrain, I helped him do the paint.

when the rigid framed 67 ironhead first hit the road

67 ironhead sportster, paughco rigid frame, magneto ignition, kick start only, low-buck, gravel road, bar hopper. Had first brought home the engine in the stock frame from a guy who thought the engine was blown up, I get it home to find that the intake pushrods were adjusted too tight, couldn't build compression, have since put on over 5000 miles on the rat bike, adjusting the pushrods every 1000 miles. !!

sportster hillclimber

900 ironhead sportster hillclimber with the trans cut off, jack shaft, 650 yamaha clutch, lots of fun!
